(Also, I am editing my last post. I forgot to post my weigh-in weight!)
Official 2nd Week Weigh-in Weight:
239 . something lbs.
239 . something lbs.
I was worried towards the end of the week, since I step on the scale every now and then just to see how much fatty muscle I've lost at the moment. There were certain circumstances earlier in the week, which had prevented me from properly sweating to a hard house dance beat. My friend Peter will be off to Abu Dhabi in the next two weeks, so we spent most of Monday night talking and listening to music. I can foresee another night or two of chilling out instead of exercising if I don't plan correctly (he'll be gone for a year and a half, barring any holiday visits). Plus, on Tuesday night, I failed and didn't do a damn thing.
BUT, I still managed to give the finger to a few more pounds (a little over 2 lbs.)mostly because of my strict adherence to my flexible diet plan. Whole grains, olive oil, chicken, fruits, nuts and leafy greens (with carrots). I haven't calculated the exact calorie counts, but my days are becoming much easier to plan, even with the stagnation in variety. I already realize that I have real trouble eating a salad that doesn't have some sort of meat in it somewhere. Saying no to beef has been tough, although I think there's some ground turkey stuffed away somewhere, so I'm going to down a few turkey cheeseburgers with onion straws, mushrooms, and Jack Daniels BBQ sauce sometime here soon.
On the RockBand front... I haven't played RockBand at all. But the harshest of truths is that I don't really have the time. I have been confronted with Dance Dance Revolution (which makes me sweat much more), actually rocking twice a week (with a real guitar), and playing through Mass Effect on my 32" 1080p Sharp Aquos High Definition Television (which has replaced my need for sugar with extreme doses of eye-candy). And my friends seem to be RockBanded out for the time being. But that will change, especially since I downloaded "Roxanne" by The Police from Xbox Live. Finally, I can truly channel Sting from the very brief period of time where I didn't hate his music.

Mental pursuits are at an all-time low, with the exception of board gaming and creative efforts with the two man, drum and guitar combo band. This will need to improve with various writing pursuits and the completion of a BETA version of Forecaster: The Boardgame (a project that has been around since September).
I'm still alive. I'm still exercising. I'm still eating. I will need to fight my boredom with the daily routine!
